In an emergency, seconds can matter. In these scenarios, for example when an ambulance has to be called, medical technology from WEINMANN is often in use. The Hamburg-based company develops life-saving equipment for emergency medicine - from ventilators to emergency cases. In a consulting workshop, ISM students developed ideas to make the company fit for the digital age.

"Through the close cooperation with WEINMANN, we were involved in the strategic planning for 2030 and experienced how it could establish itself as the market leader in the emergency medicine technology segment, " says 足球即时比分 Management?student Alicia Schumann. The student team dealt with the following questions: Who will be the customer in 2030? What will business-to-business marketing look like in the future? Which business models are future-proof?
With ISM professor Dr. Philipp Haberstock as a sparring partner, the team worked its way into digital health topics such as telemedicine, patient data platform and hospital software and conducted interviews with industry experts. A highlight was the input from ISM alumnus and OMR founder Philipp Westermeyer, who gave advice on marketing issues. "If anyone knows what marketing will look like in 2030, it's Philipp. He made us realize how important personalized content marketing and targeted social media marketing with micro-influencers are," says Alicia.

Practical projects are extremely important for the Master's student and the workshop with WEINMANN was a real stroke of luck. "The collaboration was very cooperative, cordial and at eye level. I think it was very important for WEINMANN to get the ‘out-of-the-box’ perspective from us students and for us it was a great opportunity to get insights into the work of a successful medium-sized company and its international orientation."
